Hello guys, it's been quite a while. We were in the studio on Sunday, 20th March for the campaign shoot of Befenchy Couture Jewelry, 2016 collection. The 2016 collection is dubbed ‘Mma Okike’ - Nature’s Delight and we aim to celebrate the unique aesthetics of nature as captured in the jewelry designs - The Befenchy Orchid, Bloom, Galaxy, Porcupine, Halo2, Adaora, Rosita, and Rolling Stone jewelry pieces. First, we are delighted to announce to you dear followers and supporters, the recent appointment of the Creative Director and Chief Consultant of Befenchy House of Style as the Style Editor and Consultant of one of Nigeria's leading lifestyle magazines, the Glam and Essence Magazine. Last month, October 5, 2015 precisely, our Creative director, Chichi Maduka was appointed to hold this position for the fashion and lifestyle magazine. It also happened that Glam and Essence Magazine held the 4th edition of its annual Style Awards and Runway Show on 8th of November, 2015, a month after her appointment, and Befenchy House of Style was there to fashion-coordinate and style the show. A month ago, in September, we were invited to help in designing a set for a TV Soap Opera. The director/producer of the movie, Patrick Ovoke Odjegba who happens to be the editor of the award-winning movie, ’30 Days in Atlanta’, assistant director of 'AY’s Crib', and executive producer of the sitcom, ‘Dreamerz', called to have Befenchy House of Style assist in designing a set for a character in the movie who is a jewelry designer/entrepreneur. We were also consulted to help with the character's wardrobe. The movie titled, 'Damian's Home' stars the legendary actress, Rachel Oniga. Fashion and Music Entertainment (FAME) Concert is a project by FAME productions aimed to engender continuous growth and development in the flourishing Nigerian fashion and entertainment industries. Befenchy's creative director was at the fashion audition which took place on Friday 21st Nov, 2014 at Shebah Centre, Ikeja, Lagos. Befenchy House of Style is working with the organisers on this super project and initiative as the fashion coordinator and show production assistant. The music audition will be taking place tomorrow, 25th Nov, 2014 while the final event will be holding on 17th Dec, 2014 at the Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
